These 220kV substations, which have been set up at Goregaon, Gorai and Saki, are expected to strengthen power transmission on the city’s main supply lines.
With the addition of these substations, Rinfra now has six EHV substations that would meet the power needs of the city.
RInfra CEO and whole-time director Lalit Jalan said that the company is committed to create world-class transmission network for Mumbai to meet its growing infrastructure needs.
"We would endeavour to ensure timely capacity additions for evacuation of power to facilitate all around growth of the city," Jalan said.
