The park, that is home to 350 companies, including public and private centres for research, university studies and training and research groups and dedicated R&D&I centres, will be used for field-testing, aiding the design process for a permanent urban recharging network in the city of Seville.

The scope of the agreement also includes promoting the distribution and use of EVs in the city from 2011, exchanging ideas for defining and testing the recharging network, organizing educational events and activities, and working with companies and partners that could potentially use EVs as part of their overall fleet mix.

Seville City Council plans to encourage the acquisition of zero emission vehicles by promoting the installation of a recharging network in car parks and public areas and by adopting various public and private support measures.
