Renault-Nissan Alliance has collaborated with AXA Assistance, a provider of vehicle assistance, to provide roadside assistance for its electric vehicles (EVs) in Europe as part of its global approach to preparing for the wide-scale launch of EVs.

The AXA vehicle assistance is part of a range of new services to be launched by Renault-Nissan Alliance alongside conventional roadside breakdown assistance and towing to ensure the mobility and peace of mind of its future EV customers.

These services will initially be available in the 21 European countries, which include France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, UK, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.

AXA Assistance’s vehicle assistance platform accounting for 40% of its business worldwide comprises breakdown assistance service and offers dedicated training courses in collaboration with service providers.

The contract with Renault-Nissan Alliance will allow AXA Assistance to make technological advancements to cater to the emerging, high-potential sector of EVs and contribute to the sustainable development at pan-European level.
