Chavuma District Commissioner Frobisher Fulayi said that RAE has also invested for a similar power station in Mwinilunga at Zengamina within the North-Western Province and government commissioned the mini-hydro power station in that district.
Fulayi called on investors to go to Chavuma and set up various but vibrant economic ventures besides the Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO) because the district is developing at a rocket speed.
“Investors should not worry because Chavuma is growing at a fast rate like wild fire. Besides the national power firm, ZESCO, another investor RAE will soon set up a mini-hydro-electricity power station in the district,” Fulayi said.
