The station, which is expected to open in summer 2014, will serve around 60 class-8 natural gas-powered trucks operated by Central Freight Lines.

Questar said that the station will also be open to other fleets and the general public who drive natural gas vehicles (NGVs).

Questar Fueling executive vice president and COO Craig Wagstaff said the company’s business is growing because the trucking industry is transitioning to CNG.

"Companies like Central Freight Lines are leading the way by demonstrating their commitment to a cleaner environment and using America’s abundant supply of natural gas," Wagstaff added.

Central Freight Lines president and CEO Don Orr said, "This is the second of three CNG-fueling facilities we will have across Texas."

Questar has three complementary lines of business such as retail natural gas distribution, interstate natural gas transportation and natural gas and oil development and production.
