The company, which offers a life-cycle portfolio of patented solutions to the global oil and gas industry received one order worth over $5 million for use in the Republic of Benin, West Africa. It is planned that the products, which include oil recovery in water treatment systems and chemical injection technology, will help enable the field to produce again after being shut in for over a decade and it is estimated that a further 16 years of production can be achieved.

Contracts totalling $2.7 million have also been secured from a client operating in Venezuela to provide corrugated plate interceptors, a produced water treatment for onshore applications to remove bulk oil and solids along with induced gas flotation equipment
A further two orders have been landed with a major operator in Malaysia. The produced water and nitrogen generation packages are for a new platform in the North of Bintula, Sarawak. The system utilises the company’s Total Oil Remediation and Recovery (TORR) propriety technology, providing high turn down ratio, whilst ensuring that discharge exceeds regulatory specifications.

Contracts were also secured from a super major for the ProScav technology, a hydrogen sulphide scavenging mixing solution, which will be delivered to a facility in the US and from an operator in Norway for a ProMix C100 injection mixer.

John Sabey, VP Business Development of PWA-ProSep said: "We have ambitious growth plans and these contracts secured in early 2014 demonstrate the value of our innovative approach to oil, gas and water treatment. Our technologies are helping our clients to increase oil recovery and comply with environmental regulations. We are confident our unique approach to these challenges will continue to deliver impressive results."

PWA-ProSep was launched in 2013 following the acquisition of assets of ProSep Inc by Produced Water Absorbents Inc. PWA-ProSep can now offer the most comprehensive portfolio of patented solutions to treat oil, natural gas and produced water – a growing challenge for global oil and gas operators.
