The total time allocated for completion of the project is 22 months.
The new contract follows the comparable EUR168 million agreement bagged in 2008 by a consortium led by Prysmian for building of a high voltage underground cable system. Prysmian has been playing a key role in the Middle East as a chief utilities partner for the present power transmission network expansion program.
