The nine-month, $150,000 program will allow the company to accelerate the development of its nanocrystal dispersions for use in OLED lighting.

Pixelligent will partner with OLEDWorks, as part of the program.

The SBIR program, which was formed by the US congress, supports scientific excellence and technological innovation through the investment of federal research funds.

The program titled advanced light extraction material for OLED lighting has been designed to develop an internal light-extraction structure to compatible with OLED device manufacturing processes and operating conditions.
