The news source reported that Pertamina has limited sales of petrol and diesel fuel to IDR75,000 per each private car. Subsidized petrol costs IDR4,500 per liter, while subsidized diesel costs IDR4,300 per liter in Indonesia.

The Indonesian government had earlier announced its plan to increase retail fuel prices, due to the increasing strain put by the country’s fuel subsidy scheme, on the back of increasing global crude oil costs, according to PetrolWorld.
