The power project, located in the southern Manitoba community of St Joseph, is expected to produce enough electricity every year to power 50,000 homes in the Manitoba area.
Electricity generated by the wind farm, which is now fully operational, will be sold to Manitoba Hydro under a 27-year power purchase agreement.
The wind farm will contribute to a regional reduction of more than 350,000 tons of greenhouse gases.
