The facility employs soybean oil as primary feedstock to currently produce 40 million gallons of biodiesel and 30 million pounds of food-grade glycerin annually.

Commenting on the partnership with Paseo and MSA, Cargill grain and oilseed supply chain North America business unit leader Mark Stonacek remarked together they had built a network over the last four years to serve major petroleum retailers in the country.

Missouri Soybean Association CEO Dale R. Ludwig added, "The business model has been ideal. Co-locating the biodiesel plant next to a soybean crushing facility reduces cost, saves time and money while working with three great partners."

The proposed expansion is expected to be completed by March 2013.
