US based Holly Corp (HOC) said that the preparations have begun to resume the process units at its Tulsa oil refinery in Tulsa, Oklahoma, following the plant's boilers shutting down as a result of severe cold conditions.

There was a temporary production loss due to the shutdown that led to the loss of steam affecting the operating units negatively, Nasdaq reported.

The emissions resulting from the unit outages were routed to safety flare system of the refinery.

The operations will resume once the steam-producing boilers return to service.

The Holly Refining & Marketing Tulsa refinery, which produces has a processing capacity of 125,000 barrels of crude oil per day.

Holly Corp is an independent petroleum refiner and marketer producing products such as gasoline, lubricants, diesel, wax and coke.
