Located in Dewey County near Canton, the $451m power project was a partnership between OG&E, Siemens and Renewable Energy Systems Americas.

The wind farm is equipped with 95 turbines each with a capacity of 2.3MW and three 3MW direct-drive turbines.

The facility connects with OG&E’s Windspeed power line, which was energized in 2010, and delivers wind energy across the company’s 30,000 square mile electric service area.

OG&E serves about 789,000 customers in a service territory spanning 30,000 square miles in Oklahoma and western Arkansas.
