Electric utility Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (NUVELCO) has completed the construction of a 10 MVA sub-station and a 69 KVA transmission line in Barangay San Antonio South, Philippines.

The PHP24m ($556,464) sub-station and PHP24m ($556,464) transmission line will provide sufficient power to electric utility’s four feeders.

The completion will help reduce power outages in the province.

The operation will further reduce systems loss of at least 3% which is equivalent to PHP1.5m ($34, 779).

NUVELCO is now receiving 240-260v of electricity which will help improve power distribution service that would link different provinces of NUVELCO, reports electricnet.com.
