The company has deployed a rotary air blast drill to identify the bedrock source of the anomalous radon results returned from the AlphaTrack survey.

The radon results, geophysical surveys and extensive prospecting have identified 39 high priority land targets and seven high priority and five medium priority lake targets.

In October 2013, Northern Uranium, earlier called as MPVC, has optioned northwest Manitoba property from CanAlaska Uranium to acquire up to 80% stake in the project.

The property is located within the Wollaston Domain trend, which is said to host a number of uranium deposits, including Cigar Lake, Rabbit Lake, Eagle Point, McClean Lake, Midwest Lake and McArthur River.
