The feasibility study will help develop the technical design of the project and will include relevant technical investigations, financial considerations and environmental/social impact assessment.
The proposed Nsongezi project includes run-of-the-river power plant on the Kagera River, the border river between Tanzania and Uganda. It would involve construction of a dam to utilize a head of about 18m.
