Federal-Mogul Corporation of Michigan, US has announced that it will supply bushings and wear plates for Hoover dam’s electro-mechanical equipment. The value of the contract is expected to top US$1.75M over the next ten years. Federal-Mogul will supply the dam with large scale bushings that are 25cm in diameter, while the wear pads are over 1.7m long, together weighing in at more than 20t.
