In line with the company’s policy on environmental sustainability, Nestle Japan aims to reduce CO2 emission by 80.4 mega tonnes a year and cut down on petrol usage.

Cars will be replaced when they reach a certain mileage or when they are at the end of their lease period. Nestle Japan aims to switch all company cars by the end of 2014.

Nestle Japan will also continue to monitor the auto industry, while looking into replacing vans used by the sales division to hybrid vans. At the same time, it will implement training sessions for employees to promote eco-friendly driving at its sales offices throughout Japan.
