The project, which has been constructed for the company Orka, is the second largest PV installation to date in the region, according to Martifer Solar.

With an area of 49.775m² and 14,220 PV modules installed on fixed structures, the installation will have a capacity to produce 3.15GWh per year, which is equivalent energy to supply the average consumption of 920 households.

Martifer Solar, which is responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the photovoltaic system, will also be in charge of providing operation and maintenance (O&M) services.

Martifer Solar country manager Tijs Vanhoutte said, "This is the largest PV system installed by Martifer Solar in the Benelux region and it represents the reliability, safety and bankability of the projects and work that we have been doing in this region."
