The Bredford Dolphin drilling rig is being removed from the well to complete its five year renewal survey before it is positioned back for the drilling operations of the well.

The well 6201/11-3 is being drilled to test Cretaceous and Triassic age sandstones of a multiple target structure.

The total planned drilling depth is 3,150m but it had to be temporarily halted above the primary targets at 2,120m where the 13 3/8 casing has been set.

Lundin was expecting to complete the well before the date of the renewal survey but due to delays in drilling this was not possible.

Lundin Petroleum is the operator of PL519 with 40% interest while its partners Bayerngas Norge, Norwegian Energy Company and Spring Energy Norway each hold 20% interest each.

Sweden based Lundin Petroleum is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company.
