The EXP-TW-LED-F4W intrinsically safe LED traffic wand from Larson Electronics has an intense 4 watt LED illuminating a red traffic cone for high visibility. The specially designed grip pattern provides secure handling, even in wet, oily and slippery conditions.
This LED traffic control wand features a deep dish reflector that focuses the light from the high output LED into a tight round beam to fully illuminate the red traffic cone attachment. The traffic cone snaps off and on allowing operators to turn this traffic wand into a high output explosion proof flashlight without any special tools.
Constructed of highly durable nylon, this unit is watertight and able to withstand the rigors of aggressive and heavy duty use and applications. Power for this light is provided by three AA cell alkaline batteries which give this unit a runtime of 80 hours.
The high intensity LED in this light produces 90 lumens of light, almost three times that of a halogen incandescent D cell flashlight. It has a lifetime of 30,000 hours, compared to the 50 hour average of an incandescent bulb.
