China-based Tebian Electric Apparatus (TBEA) has successfully completed 70% construction works at 500kW Kemin substation, and the second stage of construction at Datka substation, 24.kg reports.

The power engineers has also agreed on supply and commissioning of two 250MVA autotransformers for Bishkek Heating and Power Plant and early commissioning of Kemin substation with reconnection of 220kW lines to outdoor switchgear by 15 November 2014.

The early commissioning of Kemin substation is critical for the successful autumn-winter period of 2014/2015.

Built by TBEA at the cost of $389m, the Datka-Kemin power transmission line is expected to ensure energy security of the country in future.
