Kyrgyz Prime Minister, Nikolai Tanayev, invited Russian companies to participate in the reconstruction of the Uch-Kurgansky hydroelectric power plant during talks with Russian Energy Minister, Igor Yusufov, in Bishkek in mid-April, according to the RIA Novosti news agency.

Tanayev also invited Russian involvement in the construction of two power transmission lines from the Kambaratinsky hydro power plant.
