Oil and gas exploration company Koko Petroleum has appointed Georgina Martin as its interim president, pending a shareholder meeting to select a new president and chief executive officer for the company.

Ms Martin, who is currently CFO of Koko Petroleum, will follow Ted Kozub, who has resigned as director, president and chief executive officer of the company.

Mr Kozub has been in public accounting practice for over 22 years and has held various senior positions with Revenue Canada Taxation. He was appointed to the special task force for the implementation of Canadian Tax Reform and was tax manager with Hudsons Bay Oil & Gas in Calgary, which is a subsidiary of Conoco.
