The Netherlands-based oil and gas company has completed successful testing and production of oil from KSG#67 well in the Kharsang field, located in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.

KSG#67 well is currently producing at an initial gross rate of 75 barrels of oil per day.

The well is the third of the six development wells of the Phase-III-Extension drilling campaign in the oil field, which was drilled with a primary objective to target the H-00 reservoir sand layer.

G-00 and I-00 reservoir sand layers are the secondary objective of the drilling program.

Jubilant along with its partners Oil India and GeoPetrol drilled the well to a target depth of 1,050m and based on the wireline log interpretation, mud log shows and formation pressure data identified total net pay of 19m, out of which 16.4m appears to be oil bearing.
