Jacobs Engineering Group has won a three year contract from North Atlantic Refining for the provision of turnaround and small capital work services at its refinery in Newfoundland, Canada.

As per the terms of the contract, Jacobs will provide turnaround planning and execution that consists of pre-planning and post turnaround activities alongwith the delivery of small capital works at the site.

Jacobs Group vice president Chip Mitchell said that the company is pleased to expand its services in Atlantic Canada.

"This is both an opportunity for us to build a long term relationship with North Atlantic Refining and to demonstrate our commitment to a long term presence in Newfoundland," Mitchell said.

North Atlantic is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvest Operations.
