The wind farm, which is currently under construction, will provide up to 189MW of energy.

The power project will employ 90 GE turbine nacelles, which were manufactured at GE’s factories in Tehachapi and Florida while turbine towers were delivered through the Port of San Diego.

The company said that three-quarters of the turbines have already been erected.

Currently, construction of the operations and maintenance building and as well as substation, collector system and transmission construction is underway.

Construction is being managed by Blattner Energy.
