The contract includes the design and supply of a SCR System for the plant’s 225MW net coal fired unit, which uses Eastern Bituminous coal as fuel. SCR systems reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. The SCR system would use Hitachi’s catalyst, offering high NOx removal efficiencies and mercury oxidation over wide operating load ranges and fuel types, which is designed for continuous operation throughout the year.
