The plan is to be developed on GreenWorld’s Alabama Landfill that is licensed to process 25,000 tons of waste per day. This includes municipal solid waste, construction and demolition debris, industrial waste and approved special waste.

To be built, owned and operated by GreenWorld, the Waste2Energy plants will be built using special technology such that there is zero carbon emission.

Located in close proximity of a national electricity grid and having access to rail and barge provide logistical ease for GreenWorld’s plans to obtain quality waste streams from across the nation.

Currently the Alabama Landfill fulfils and exceeds on criteria laid by the US Environment Protection Agency as well as Department of Environmental Management Regulations both of which seek to protect the environment.
