Danny Roderick, vice president of GE Hitachi’s new plant projects, said by 2030 it estimates to set up 15-18 reactors in Europe, including Nordic countries and Britain.

“We can see building 15-18 units in Europe between now and 2030,” Roderick said.

Currently, GE-Hitachi is constructing four ABWRs, a third generation reactor, along with two in Taiwan and two in Japan.
