PowerUp will allow wind turbines to adjust, according to the speed and direction of wind, reports hydrogenfuelnews.com.

The new technology will help technicians to improve performance of wind systems and increase of production.

PowerUp is expected to increase energy production by 5%, and can produce additional electricity to power around 165,000 homes in US.

The new technology is one of 14 similar technologies, which are introduced by the company this month.

GE plans to introduce another 10 technologies to make renewable energy more attractive over fossil-fuels, in terms of productivity or efficiency.
