GDF Suez, a natural gas and electricity supplier, has reported that net income group share grew to E3.4 billion for the first half of 2008, a more than 14% increase, compared to E2.96 billion for the same period of 2007.
Revenues were E43.1 billion for the first half of 2008, a 17% increase, compared to E36.73 billion for the same period of 2007.
EBITDA was E8.13 billion for the first six months of 2008, a 20% increase, compared to E6.75 billion for the same period of 2007.
The group generated E6.4 billion in cash flow, allowing an increase in investments, E5.7 billion (a 52% increase), consistent with its development program.
