Reuters noted that the Montoir liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal was brought off-line after a ship leaked around 100 cubic meters of fuel oil into the Loire river while being refilled with fuel oil at integrated energy major Total’s Donges refinery.
The Montoir terminal has an annual regasification capacity of 10 billion cubic meters and according to a Gaz de France spokesman, the terminal’s capacity is back to 100%, reported the news source.
