The energy multinational has won the electricity supply tender, bidding against two other energy marketing companies.
The one-year agreement between the two companies provides for the energy multinational to deliver its high-voltage electricity service to five network supply points in the transport company’s facilities.
The transport company’s estimated annual energy consumption is 4 GWh and the budget for the contract with Tranvía de Murcia is 275,000 euros.
In the same tender Gas Natural Fenosa has also been awarded the supply of electricity to Metro de Bilbao and Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) which tendered their electricity supply for the coming year with Tranvía de Murcia. The tender is for an annual consumption of 336 GWh, worth an estimated income of almost 23 million euros.
