Gamesa will install 22 units of its G90 wind turbines, each with capacity of 2MW.

It will also develop all necessary infrastructures for the project’s construction and operation, including an electricity substation, a high-tension line and the site’s susbsequent connection to the power grid, under the terms of the contract.

It will oversee operation and maintenance services at the wind farm over a ten-year period and will manufacture the wind turbines in Spain and the US during 2012.

Gamesa has received orders totaling 236MW in Latin America and Southern Cone countries since the beginning of the year.
