Gamesa has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with three Chinese firms for 900MW of wind turbine capacity in Beijing.

The MoUs with Longyuan, China Resources Power and Datang may culminate in firm contracts to supply 900MW in turbine capacity in the coming months.

In addition, Gamesa has been selected Longyuan, a wind farm developer, to jointly develop 200MW wind farms by 2015.

In the event that these agreements are finalized, Gamesa will begin a business relationship with a new power company, China Resources Power (CRP), while building on its existing relationships with Longyuan and Datang.

With Datang, Gamesa is currently developing wind farms with capacity of 289MW in the province of Liaoning.
