The wind farm, which has an installed capacity of 14MW, is equipped with seven units of Gamesa G90 2MW turbine.

The turbines have the capacity to produce some 30,000 megawatt-hours of electricity.

The sale marks the second agreement between the two companies in the wind energy market; Gamesa sold a 32MW wind farm in Poland to RWE Innogy 18 months ago.

Electricity produced by the project is enough to meet the equivalent demand of over 15,000 residential households per year and to avoid 30,000 tons of CO2.
