The company has reported departure of local safety bureau from the site, Area 60, and plans to replace the ruptured pipe work.
Awaiting the approval from the government to re-open the site, Galaxy is keen on resuming the operations by February 2013 following the completion of refurbishment and shutdown process.
On 22 November 2012, a blocked fiberglass pipe ruptured in the sodium sulphate crystallization area causing the death of a worker while several others were injured.
Galaxy is reportedly working with authorities to enable complete safety of the plant before the re-commencement of the operations at the site.
The company, meanwhile, is carrying out product sales, customer testing and qualification operations at the site that would continue over the next few months.
