The 2.45m of seams are of similar thickness to the seams on International Coal and Hancock Prospecting’s EPC2196 about 2.5km to the north.
Partings over a 2.72 m interval, the 2.45m of coal seams includes two separate coal seams separated by 27cm from 198m down hole.
With drilling on the final hole, Fox 3, is scheduled to be completed within a week, four of the six completed holes have intersected coal.
Analytical and coal quality analyses results are expected in the coming weeks while the key Resource Estimate will be undertaken following completion of drilling with results expected in March.
