The contract is expected to add around $64m revenue to the FMC, if all of the equipment is ordered.

As part of the deal, Pemex will order around 40% of the contractual value during the three-year call-off period.

FMC’s contract scope includes supplying of surface wellheads and production trees, as well as installation and supervision services for Pemex’s operations in Southwest marine region of the Gulf of Mexico, while equipment will be supplied from its operations in Mexico.

FMC Technologies’, Surface Technologies vice president Johan Pfeiffer said the company has played a significant role in Pemex’s developments.

"We appreciate the opportunity to extend our support of Pemex," Pfeiffer added.

FMC designs, manufactures and services technologically systems and products such as subsea production and processing systems, surface wellhead systems, high pressure fluid control equipment, measurement solutions, and marine loading systems for the oil and gas industry.
