US-based solar energy services provider FLS Energy has issued request for proposals (RFPs) seeking acquisition of the pre-developed and shovel-ready solar power projects totaling 100MW in North Carolina.

The company will acquire the projects located within the Duke Energy or Dominion North Carolina Power service territories within a period of the next 12 months.

FLS Energy, which will construct, own and operate the projects, said the last date for receiving of RFPs is 1 May 2014.

All electricity generated by the projects will be purchased by the participating utility through a 15 year power purchase agreement.
