Mississippi Power, a wholly owned subsidiary of Southern Company, is constructing the 582MW power plant in Kemper County.
Flowserve will deliver its ISO 13709/API 610 process pumps for the facility’s carbon dioxide capture unit.
The power project is designed to capture approximately 65% of the carbon dioxide emissions and the CO2 will then be sold for use in enhanced oil recovery operations.
