Mr Dolan, who is the president of ExxonMobil Chemical Company (EMCC), will be a member of the company’s management committee.
Following the merger of Exxon and Mobil in 1999, he became EMCC’s regional director for Middle East and Africa. In 2001, he became executive vice president of ExxonMobil Saudi Arabia. Mr Dolan was appointed president of EMCC in 2004.
ExxonMobil’s board of directors is expected to appoint Stephen Pryor, president of ExxonMobil Refining & Supply Company to succeed Mr Dolan as president of EMCC, effective April 1, 2008. Mr Glass, who is the senior vice president of EMCC, is expected to succeed Mr Pryor as president of ExxonMobil Refining & Supply Company.
