EverPower Wind, a division of EverPower Renewables, has revealed that it is developing a wind energy project in Steuben County, New York, its second project currently in construction in the State.

In addition to the 70-megawatt Steuben project, EverPower is also building a 50-megawatt wind project in Cattaraugus County, New York.

EverPower is in the process of developing six wind sites in the Northeastern US in total, three of which are in New York including the Steuben and Cattaraugus sites. The company also develops commercial size solar projects and is studying other proven renewable technologies.

The project underscores EverPower’s commitment to helping New York State achieve its renewable energy requirements under the Renewable Energy Policy announced last year by the Public Service Commission, said EverPower managing director, Jim Spencer. We are proud to be a part of the State’s forward-thinking renewable energy policy.
