enXco Service, an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company that constructs, owns and operates renewable energy projects, has secured a Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract from Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA) for 50MW Linden Wind Power Project in Klickitat County, Washington.

enXco developed the Linden Wind Farm consisting of 25 REpower MM92 turbines for SCPPA on behalf of participating members Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the City of Glendale, providing commissioning assistance during construction that started in November 2009.

The wind project has started commercial operations in June 2010 and the recent contract now requires enXco Service to provide on-site O&M for the balance of plant during the warranty period, and for the turbines post-warranty.

In addition to operation and maintenance services, enXco Service will provide 24/7 remote monitoring of the wind turbines from its Operations Control Center located near Chandler, Minnesota.

enXco Service director of business development Dave Luck said that enXco Service is pleased to have been selected by SCPPA to provide O&M for the Linden project as Linden adds to the company’s rapidly growing portfolio in the Northwest Region.
