This additional acreage increases the total area of Eneabba Mining tenements to 1,175 sq. km. Once confirmed by DMP, this tenement will also become part of the combined reporting group, known as the Sargon tenements.
The extension is important along with tenement to maximise the future potential of coal resources that have already been delineated in tenement, which has been the subject of a Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) Resource study in that area.
Once a final analysis of the latest exploration results has been undertaken, Eneabba Mining is expected to move quickly to ensure that it can lodge an application for a mining lease in the area to begin operations.
