The well is currently flowing to sales on a 7/64" choke with 3420 psi of flow tubing pressure and flow rates have been stable with an average gas rate of 1.05 million cubic feet of gas per day and an additional average oil rate of 40.44 barrels of oil per day for the last seven days of production.

Empyrean Energy holds a 10% working interest in the A-740 well.

Empyrean Energy executive director Tom Kelly said that these early flow rates have improved significantly and the pressure data is encouraging for this reservoir.

"The rates have been conservatively choked back and the operator is hoping to be able to engineer future wells at Hercules to improve on these rates," Kelly said.
