EHN, AEGA and KW Tarifa alliance to market wind

Market forces at work in Spain

Acciona, an EHN-led alliance with AEGA and KW Tarifa has placed some 842 MW of wind capacity into the Spanish market, giving it a market share of more than 40%.

Acciona has 31 wind farms of which 607 MW are from EHN and 180 MW AEGA and KW Tarifa with a combined output of 787 MW. Another four allied facilities totalling 55 MW also contribute. The group has a further 207 MW under construction, awaiting grid connection or waiting for entry into the market.
