In his new position, Mr Pernigotti will be responsible for managing the company’s information systems and developing a long-term IT strategy to support Edison’s business objectives.
Mr Pernigotti began his career at Edison in 1986. He served in a number of capacities within the company, eventually becoming Edison’s IT manager.
From 2002 until his latest appointment, he was the chief information officer of Edipower and he is reported to have contributed to the development of the firm, which was created as a result of its acquisition by Edison from the Italian utility Enel.
