Redfield Energy is a 55m gallon plant situated in South Dakota and has been a partner with Eco-Energy Alliance plant since January 2009.

WNYE is also a 55m gallon plant, located in New York that secured an extension marking its sixth year of collaboration with Eco-energy.

Commenting on the extension of the partnership, Eco-Energy CEO Chad Martin said the company is committed to add value to its alliance partners and these extensions are examples of the same.

"Especially in difficult times like we have seen in 2012, our Alliance plants are looking to maximize value with a focus on margin optimization and management," added Martin.

Eco-energy has a turnover of about $3bn and claims to handle 10% of the Bio-fuel market in the country.
